Job summary

RepliGen Corporation in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking a Fabrication Associate I to perform plastic welding and fabrication in a GMP-regulated environment. You will read engineering drawings, follow SOPs, and work safely to produce high-quality assemblies.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and collaboration, supporting internal and external customers while adhering to 5S and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings, specifications, BOMs, and job orders.
• Experience using hand and power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in GMP environments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom plastic assemblies from blueprints and client concepts.
• Produce high-quality outputs that meet specifications, timelines and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety, GMP, and company SOPs while promoting safety and operational excellence.
• Follow SOPs and production schedules to support efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
• Use hand and power tools (band saws, drill presses, welding equipment) to manufacture products.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 5S and GMP requirements.
• Inspect completed work, identify quality concerns, and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to achieve department goals.
• Propose process improvements to enhance quality, safety and efficiency.
