Position: Fabrication Associate - Entry Level

Schedule: M-F 5:30am-3:00pm (45 hours/week, includes 5 hours OT)

Responsibilities:

1. Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication in the shop.
2. Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe lengths.
3. Measure and cut pipe using band saw and/or torch, including rolling, grooving, threading, and beveling with landis machines.
4. Transport loose and bundled pipe within the yard.
5. Assemble pipe orders in single sticks or bundles, maintaining organized work supplies.
6. Follow safety precautions during fabrication, cutting, assembly, stacking, and shipping of pipes.
7. Operate powered industrial equipment following OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of fabrication experience preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills and ability to calculate quantities on hand.
• Experience with machinery for cutting and threading pipe per OSHA regulations is preferred.
• Ability to stay results-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.

Pay Range:

$15.61 - $23.41 per hour
