Bobrick Washroom Equipment, Inc. in Jackson, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Trainee (Fabrication) to operate deburring machinery and assist with material handling under close supervision.

You will uphold safety, product quality, productivity, and Bobrick policies while continuously upgrading job skills to keep pace with changing technology. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Self-Balancing Flow manufacturing knowledge or experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of shop and safety practices is essential.

Responsibilities

• Understands the Four Level Defect Grading System and reports and contributes to solving quality defects.
• Follows verbal instructions to set up required equipment.
• Monitors and verifies that work meets Bobrick standards.
• Operates air operated hand tools and fixtures on work bench.
• Assists with material handling operations.
• Performs part deburring using automated equipment.
• Maintains production process in a capable and aligned state and seeks continuous improvement.
• Keeps work area clean and follows safety procedures.
• Performs weekly pre-use inspection of equipment.
• Stacks completed product on skids.
• Demonstrates proficiency on presses and fladder.
• Operates 221 cell press, welder, and cartoner machines.
