Hourly Rate: $18.75
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Use hand tools to assemble fabricated parts and perform basic operations on manufacturing equipment/machines



RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Perform various tasks including using hand tools to assemble fabricated parts at floor stations, perform basic operations on standard manufacturing machinery, and product packaging


*Test and calibrate assembled mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications


*Adhere to the calibration schedule for all tools used by the team


*Be aware of all Quality requirements


*Follow the Work Instructions and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines


*Identify any documentation errors and bring to the attention of the Line Leader (i.e. Bills of Material, Quality documents, Work Instructions)


*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management


*Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training


*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment


*Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations


*Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times


*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary



REQUIRED SKILLS

*Must be friendly, a team player, detail-oriented, and honest



Must have the ability to:


*Safely operate heavy equipment that is known to interfere with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators and other electrical medical implants


*Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment


*Be cross-trained for multiple jobs within assigned work area(s)


*Work under general supervision and direction from leadership team


*Safely use hand tools and standard power tools


*Operate machines safely with minimal supervision


*Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals


*Use a hydraulic lift, hand tools, standard power tools, measuring tools, small table lifting device and electronic testing equipment


*Read and comprehend work instructions


*Push/Pull/Lift 50 lbs.


*Stand/Bend/Kneel



Must have:


*Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement


*A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods


*Good verbal and written communication skills



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*No experience required



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment using hand or power tools to assemble parts or product preferred


*At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating machinery preferred


*Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred



PREFERRED EDUCATION

*High School Diploma or GED preferred



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
