Job summary

AFC Materials Group is seeking a Cooking Solutions Assembler for first shift in Lake in the Hills, IL. You will work on fabricating belts, baskets, and related parts for the Quick Serve Restaurant line, following work instructions and maintaining quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Places ends on fabricated parts for belts.
• Unloads cured belts from curing oven.
• Checks pattern on belts and weave of fabric on baskets for defects and sorts the products accordingly.
• Applies instructions, inserts pin, and packages belts and fabricated parts for shipment.
• Creates belts, baskets, and other fabricated items for the FPG business by following written or verbal work instructions.
• Packages belts, baskets, and other fabricated parts for shipment.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require and as directed by the supervisor.
• Works on line where tasks vary from sewing to heat sealing.
• Able to read orders and carry out essential functions of the job without direct supervision.
• Good working knowledge of quality control and attention to detail.
• Maintains work area, lightly cleaning as necessary.
• Correctly completes all inventory transactions in the ERP system.
