Job summary

TravisMathew is seeking a Junior Materials Developer to support fabric and trim development for the Women’s line. You will collaborate with Design, Development and Sourcing teams to translate concepts into bulk-ready fabrics and trims, while aligning with sourcing strategy and cost targets.

Responsibilities include fabric selection, tracking submissions in PLM, maintaining development files, and presenting trials to stakeholders. 1+ year in material sourcing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical training or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in material sourcing and development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design, Merch, Development & Sourcing teams to develop in season fabrics for Women’s line.
• Develop 1-2 inline pillars seasonal fabrics into bulk ready fabrics meeting quality standards.
• Track fabric, lab dip and print submissions, developments, pricing and approvals in PLM.
• Maintain development files, reports and seasonal recaps.
• Prepare and present development trials with key stakeholders.
• Communicate sourcing requirements to vendors and mills.
• Review test results and ensure compliance.
