Job summary

Swatch SewerHickory Chair in Hickory, NC seeks a detail-focused Swatch Clerk to produce and label fabric swatches and assist with finish chips.

You will pull swatch sets, prepare for shipping, cut and label swatches, and help with market preparation while following safety policies.

No prior swatch dept experience is required but helpful; physical work includes standing all day and lifting up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Must have basic knowledge of computer programs.
• Prior experience in a fabric swatch department a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Apply new grade labels to swatches.
• Pull swatch sets and prepare for shipping.
• Cut, serge, sew, label, and grommet swatches as assigned.
• Assist with finish chips.
• Assist in Market preparation as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
