Job summary

Hickory Chair LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Swatch Clerk to produce swatches and label them, helping with finish chips and organization for shipments. The role requires basic reading of safety rules, basic math, and reliable communication.

You will pull swatch sets, apply new grade labels, sew and label swatches, assist in market preparation, and support the swatch department as needed while following safety policies in a busy factory environment.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills required.

• Good communication and decision-making skills.
• Experience in a fabric swatch department is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply new grade labels to swatches.
• Pull swatch sets and prepare for shipping.
• Cut, serge, sew, label, and grommet swatches as assigned.
• Assist with finish chips.
• May assist in Market preparation, as needed.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other Swatch department duties as needed.
