Job summary

Perficient is seeking a Solutions Architect, Microsoft Fabric to lead enterprise Fabric engagements and define the strategic roadmap for Fabric-based data platform services. You will mentor a distributed team and collaborate with sales to shape pursuits and create SOWs.

Candidates with broader Azure governance, landing zones, and IAM experience are a strong plus. Leverage your expertise to drive adoption and establish Perficient's Fabric center of excellence across client engagements.

Qualifications

10 to 15 years architecting enterprise data analytics solutions with 5+ years on Azure data platforms.
Hands-on mastery of Microsoft Fabric components: Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI.
Experience designing tenant-level governance, workspace management, capacity planning, security.
Led 5+ full lifecycle Fabric/Synapse/Databricks programs from discovery to optimization.
Consulting background: presales estimation, SOW creation, team structure, executive presentations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, and governance best practices.
Strong communication skills; able to mentor globally distributed teams.
Certifications: DP-600; Bachelor's degree in CS/IS (Master's preferred).

Responsibilities

Design and lead enterprise Fabric migrations and implementations from architecture through delivery.
Serve as senior technical authority on Fabric engagements, guiding architecture and best practices.
Lead workshops to define current state, pain points, and target architecture.
Produce architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and release plans for phased delivery.
Guide agile teams through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterations.
Remove delivery impediments, manage risk, and ensure design reviews meet quality standards.
Define reusable architecture patterns and templates for client engagements.
