Job summary

Bella + Canvas in Montebello, CA, is seeking a Raw Materials Planning Manager to lead end-to-end fabric and material procurement, balancing demand forecasting and supplier partnerships to ensure uninterrupted material flow.

This highly analytical role works with product development, planning, and logistics to optimize sourcing, manage forecasts, and track KPIs, with onsite office hours and periodic travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of fabric sourcing or materials planning experience.
• Experience in apparel or activewear manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP/PLM systems (e.g., FDM4, Anaplan, Centric) preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure fabrics and raw materials aligned with product and production needs.
• Manage relationships with domestic and offshore mills, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, capacity, lead times, and MOQs to support margins and production goals.
• Partner with product development and technical teams on fabric approvals and performance standards.
• Develop and manage raw material forecasts based on demand plans and sales trends.
• Own fabric capacity planning with mills to support replenishment and new production.
