Job summary

FirstSpear is seeking a full-time Fabric/Laser Cutting Operator to support our production of elite tactical gear. The role focuses on cutting textiles with automated and manual tools, ensuring high quality output while meeting production schedules.

The operator will handle fabric stacks, validate materials against patterns, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a Monday–Friday shift. Prior cutting experience and reliability are valued in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic fabric and laser cutting machines according to design and batch orders.
• Stack fabrics and cut using manual cutting tools per patterns and schedules.
• Inspect materials for conformance during cutting operations.
• Generate cut files to maximize material utilization and input layout text for laser cutting.
• Assemble laser-cut parts and maintain department stock.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure safety standards are followed.
