Job summary

Alo Yoga is seeking a Raw Material Developer to drive creation and execution of innovative, high-performance fabrics. You will partner with Design, Product Creation, and Sustainability to ensure material readiness from development through production.

You will lead validation, wear testing, KPI reporting, and manage global mills, building tracking systems to ensure durable, sustainable fabrics that meet our brand standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in fabric development and performance textiles.
• Experience with top-tier mills to develop and commercialize materials.
• Proficient in industry testing standards (AATCC, ASTM, GB) and data-driven decision making.
• Strong organizational, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine fabrics aligning with seasonal goals for function, feel, durability and sustainability.
• Lead wear-testing workflows, sample coordination, and feedback translation into development decisions.
• Collaborate with Design, PD, Technical Design, Production and Sustainability to ensure material readiness.
• Manage supplier and mill relationships to ensure smooth development to bulk production.
• Create and maintain development tracking systems and KPI dashboards for visibility and accountability.
