Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in textiles or related field.
• Basic knowledge of fabric terminology, construction, fiber content, and fabric development/production processes.
• Strong interest in textiles and willingness to learn about fabric sourcing, development, and production.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable communicating with mills, factories, and internal teams.
• Proactive, dependable, and eager to learn.
• PLM or other product-development systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fabric sourcing, development, and follow-up with suppliers.
• Maintain and organize fabric samples, production samples, and related records.
• Prepare and maintain fabric charts for development and production.
• Collect and upload FDS and other required documentation, including test reports and sustainability certificates.
• Assist with creating and placing purchase orders for proto and sample yardage.
• Communicate daily with mills and factories to monitor sample yardage status and deliveries.
• Track fabric submissions, approvals, and production status.
• Follow up on outstanding sample requests, approvals, and production-related issues.
• Assist with purchase orders, shipping information, invoices, and other fabric-related documentation.
• Assist with reviewing fabric quality and color and providing comments to suppliers.
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
