Job summary

Derex Technologies Inc is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Lead (P&C Preferred) to guide the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

You will provide technical leadership, define architecture, mentor a team of data engineers, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms across programs, with Day 1 onsite work in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Cloud Data Platform development.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform technologies.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric in enterprise implementations.
• Strong SQL, PySpark, Python, and Spark optimization skills.
• Experience with Fabric components: OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Power BI, Real-Time Intelligence.
• Experience with ADLS, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT architecture, and data governance.
• Experience leading technical teams on large-scale modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Fabric solutions across enterprise programs.
• Define technical architecture, standards, and best practices for Fabric adoption.
• Provide technical leadership to a data engineering team and review designs and deployment strategies.
• Design and implement enterprise data platforms with Fabric components and ensure scalable, secure delivery.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and semantic datasets for Power BI.
• Mentor engineers, manage DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, and support production deployments.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders; communicate status to leadership.
