Job summary

Bitwise in Grand Rapids seeks a senior data/AI engineer to lead discovery sessions with business SMEs, design and deploy intelligent Fabric Data Agents grounded in Power BI semantic models, and guide other technical resources.

You will work across Fabric data platform, integrate with Azure native AI tooling, and apply governance, safety and RLS to prevent data exposure, while driving end-to-end testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• Lead discovery sessions with business SMEs to design, architect, and deploy intelligent Fabric Data Agents grounded in Power BI semantic models.
• Hands-on experience with the end-to-end Fabric data platform and strong data engineering depth.
• Familiarity with Fabric's integration points into Azure native AI tooling.
• Knowledge of AI orchestration, prompts, grounding/RAG techniques, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with business SMEs to design, architect, and deploy Fabric Data Agents.
• Guide other technical resources to implement end-to-end Fabric data solutions.
• Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models within Fabric for reliable LLM querying.
• Orchestrate AI flows using Copilot Studio and RAG techniques.
• Ensure governance and safety with strict data access controls (RLS) and content filtering.
• Drive end-to-end testing and benchmarking before deployment.
