Job summary

OFS is seeking an experienced Fabric Cutter/Operator for their seating division. The role demands attention to detail, urgency, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

You will cut fabrics to pattern specifications and help maintain quality across the seating line. Responsibilities include cutting with Lectra equipment, measuring accurately, inspecting fabrics for defects, and keeping the workspace clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Fabric Cutter, preferably with Lectra cutting machines.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD programs.
• Knowledge of fabric types including upholstery material, vinyl and leather.
• Previous cutting and inspection experience.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabric Cutting: accurately measure and cut fabric according to patterns and designs; use Lectra cutting machines and hand-cutting tools; minimize fabric wastage.
• Inspection: inspect incoming fabrics for defects and inconsistencies; document defects to uphold quality standards.
• General Duties: maintain a clean, organized work area; follow safety protocols; collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow.
