Job summary

Thibaut in North Carolina is seeking a Fabric Cutter to measure, cut, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy and efficiency. This role operates in a brand-new facility and requires basic warehouse experience, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs. Infor system use and quality inspection are essential parts of daily duties.

You will work within standard hours and have opportunities for performance incentives and overtime in a growing company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience
• Highschool diploma or GED
• Able to distinguish colors and patterns
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs
• Able to stand/walk up to 8 to 12 hours per day
• Must be able to use MS Office

Responsibilities

• Measure, Cut, Pack and Ship orders accurately, efficiently, and according to customer requirements.
• Perform all activities in the Infor system to maintain inventory accurately.
• Properly inspect printed and woven fabrics and recognize quality issues.
• Meet or exceed any productivity standards. Participate in all provided training.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Install, level, and align components, such as gears, chains, guides, dies, cutters, and/or needles to set up machinery for operation.
• Inspect machinery to determine whether repairs are needed.
• Organized and can prioritize cutting according to the shipping schedule.
• Meet or exceed published cuts/hour targets.

Salary Range: $15.00 Hourly Onwards

Position overview:

The position is responsible for:

• Able to lift up to 65 lbs. Able to push and pull rolling carts and pallet jacks.
• Able to stand/walk up to 8 to 12 hours per day.
• Must be able to use MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of the usage of various fabric cutting tools, machinery and methods.
• Familiar with inventory and warehouse management concepts and systems.
• Prior experience in textiles and wallcoverings preferred.
• Must be able to work flexibly within the distribution center’s hours, currently between 7am and 6pm eastern.
• Team player with can-do attitude.
