Job summary

Jenoptik AG in Huntsville, AL, seeks a detail-oriented manufacturing technician to operate micro-optical device fabrication processes, including photolithography, etching, dicing, and metrology. You will perform in-line quality assurance and support continuous improvement in a cleanroom environment.

You will enter data in the JOSH system, follow safety protocols, maintain equipment setups, and coordinate with engineers and managers to meet productivity and quality goals.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree or higher-level education, preferred.
• Detail-oriented; exhibit high workmanship and dexterity handling wafers and optical components.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or Qualified U.S. worker.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture micro-optical devices and related products using wafer fabrication processes (photolithography, plasma/wet etching, metrology, dicing, inspection).
• Perform in-line quality assurance and support continuous improvement.
• Support critical outsourced value creation steps in production flow.
• Follow safety policies; wear protective equipment and handle chemicals safely; maintain cleanroom protocols.
