Job summary

Renesas Palm Bay Operations is seeking a Night Shift Fab Technician to perform machine setup and operation, data logging, material handling and inspection in a clean room environment. The role requires attention to detail and comfort with computer systems. Shift is 12 hours, 7pm–7am, four days on one week, three on the next, with no weekends.

Onsite position in Palm Bay, FL offering competitive benefits. Applicants must meet ITAR considerations and U.S. person requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of manufacturing duties including machine set-up and operation, data logging, material handling and inspection.
• Work in a clean room environment and wear clean room garments; maintain high attention to detail.
• Read and interpret written instructions accurately and follow procedures.
• Support a compressed 12-hour shift schedule with no weekends.

Candidate will be required to work in a clean room environment, including wearing clean room garments. Candidates with previous manufacturing experience that required multi-tasking is a plus. Must be comfortable interacting with computer systems and high-tech equipment. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret written instructions.

This opportunity is on a compressed work week schedule which are 12- hour shifts and NO WEEKENDS. The hours are 7pm - 7am, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, every other Thursday. You work 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the following week. OFF EVERY Fri, Sat, Sun and every other Thur.

Majority of work time requires standing. Once trained will be required to work independently and meet quality and productivity expectations.

Due to the nature of this position and the required access to areas where ITAR-controlled articles and/or technical data may be present, candidates must meet the applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access. This includes individuals who are:

• A U.S. citizen or U.S. national;
• A lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder); or
• A protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

Additional Information

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts are available.
