Job summary

TP Mechanical, LLC. is seeking an experienced welder/fab worker to perform daily welding and pipefitting tasks at job sites and in the shop. Must be able to read blueprints, communicate with subcontractors, and represent TP Mechanical Contractors professionally.

Candidate should have at least 1 year of welding experience, basic math skills, and the ability to pass a GMAW pipe test. High school diploma or GED required; trade school a plus; valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation is a plus.
• Working knowledge of all hand and power tools.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to pass a pipe test (GMAW).

Responsibilities

• Weld in Fab Shop.
• Assist with layout of work projects.
• Follow OSHA and TP Mechanical Contractors safety standards.
• Keep equipment in good working order and ensure maintenance is performed.
• Maintain clean work area and perform routine cleanup.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: Responsible for daily work at sites of TP Mechanical Contractors. Work includes all types of pipefitting. Individual should be able to read and understand blueprints, communicate effectively with all other persons on the jobsite, including our sub-contractors, and represent TP Mechanical Contractors in a professional manner.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Responsible for all welding in Fab Shop.
• Assists with the layout of work projects.
• Follows all OSHA and TP Mechanical Contractors standards for safety.
• Keeps equipment in good working order and insures proper and timely maintenance is performed one equipment.
• Keeps work area clear of unnecessary clutter and performs routine clean-up as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience/Qualifications Required
• Minimum 1year welding experience.

Physical Requirements

• Able to perform shift work if needed
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
