Overview

We are currently seeking a dependable and reliable Shop Helper to join our team in our Fabrication Shop. The ideal candidate would possess a strong-worth ethic, and some basic mechanical knowledge. Candidate needs to be coachable and teachable to learn all operations in the Shop setting. This is a full-time position working primarily in our fabrication shop.

Responsibilities
  • Setup and breakdown of welding prefabrications
  • Assisting with the day-to-day operations of fabrication and logistics
  • Cleanliness and organization of shop
  • Loading and unloading shop tools and equipment from freight shipments
  • Receiving deliveries and shipments
  • Shop Maintenance
  • Picking up materials and supplies at various vendors’ locations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with various pipefitting techniques
  • Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Welding certification(s) a plus but not required
  • Valid Driver’s License

All successful candidates must have a valid driver's license and complete a criminal background check.
