Supervises daily activities of a medium sized production team to ensure that volume, cost, and quality targets are achieved. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures for continuous improvement. Coordinates work schedules, staffing requirements, and training requirements to maximize productivity. Provides input to the performance evaluation of the team.

About the Job
  • Supervises the daily activities of a production team by monitoring productivity; accountable for results of the team. Trains new team members on processes. (50%)
  • Identifies areas for development and recommends ways to improve processes. (20%)
  • Assists the team with difficult or complex concerns; acts an escalation point of contact. (10%)
  • Implements change management initiatives to improve metrics and performance. (10%)
  • May coach other supervisors in performance management decisions and provide input to performance reviews. (10%)
  • Other duties as assigned.
About You
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor or university degree a plus
  • Five years of experience with at least one year at a supervisor level
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices
  • Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail
