Creekstone Farms Premium Beef is seeking a Loin Line Trimmer Lead to direct the daily activities of Trimmers on the Loin Line in the Fabrication department. The role emphasizes leadership, continuous improvement, and upholding Creekstone Proud standards.

You will guide task distribution, support new team members, and maintain safety and production documentation. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills are essential in this hands-on leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of and work with Trimmers on the Loin Line of the Fabrication department.

• Teach and maintain production standards and policies to support goals.
• Strategically distribute tasks on Loin Line for efficiency.
• Provide learning support to new team members.

• Notify supervisor of maintenance or product issues during shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in the area.

JOB SUMMARY

Loin Line Trimmer Lead will direct the daily activities of and work directly with Trimmers on the Loin Line of the Fabrication department. They will be responsible for being an example to other Team Members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensure that company standards and policies are properly taught and maintained to support company goals
• Strategically make decisions about the distribution of job tasks on Loin Line for maximum efficiency
• Provide service to and enhance the learning experience of new team members
• Develop and promote positive working relationships with all team members
• Must understand and have a “Creekstone Proud” mindset
• Must read, interpret, and maintain all production documentations associated with Loin Line
• Notify supervisor of any maintenance, and or product issues throughout shift
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, and safe work environment in the area
• All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Meat Industry experience required
• Knowledge of trimming on Loin Line is connected to the whole beef production process
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to present ideas, concepts, issues, concerns, and questions in a well thought out, positive, and professional manner
• Ability to foster an atmosphere of teamwork and respect
• Functional with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Basic math skills are necessary
• Clear communication skills – verbally and in written form.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Climbing occasionally, stooping occasionally, crouching occasionally, standing for 8 or more hours per day, walking frequently, pushing frequently, pulling frequently, gasping frequently, repetitive motions frequently,
• lifting: 0 – 100#, wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc.
