Job summary

Mercury Plastics is seeking a Fabrication Operator to fabricate and assemble parts from extruded product according to customer specifications. You will use fixtures, hand tools, and power tools to follow training parameters and ensure quality.

This role operates on the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday) with a starting pay of $17.50 per hour. Responsibilities include operating heating, forming, splicing, and punching machines, performing basic assembly, inspecting products, and preparing items for

Responsibilities

• Operate various heating, forming, splicing, and punching machines
• Perform general assembly as needed
• Make limited adjustments to equipment, as authorized
• Form plastic tubing using heat panels and ovens
• Cut plastic tubing to size using automated cutters per quality specifications
• Inspect product (using gauges/fixtures) for quality and conformance to specifications
• Prepare product for shipping, including assembling boxes, packing, and labeling product
• Responsible for accurate production reporting
• Keep equipment and work area clean
