Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Design and Construction Electrical Engineer to lead design, construction, and ongoing improvement of site-wide electrical systems at its US facilities. You will partner with multi-functional teams to support semiconductor manufacturing and ensure safe, reliable power infrastructure.

You will evaluate electrical systems, lead design efforts, manage schedules and budgets, perform field inspections, and collaborate with facilities and manufacturing stakeholders to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of facilities engineering in semiconductor/mfg environment.
• 5+ years in electrical design and/or project management.
• Experience with power distribution, substations, building power, lighting, UPS, generators.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during construction to ensure specs and budgets.
• Evaluate electrical systems for safety, reliability, and performance; recommend improvements.
• Lead electrical design efforts and construction drawings for facility projects.
• Ensure constructability and successful project execution around operating environments.
• Partner with facilities and manufacturing stakeholders to meet objectives.
