Aerotek in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a Repair Technician responsible for repairing and overhauling electrical power supplies and magnetic components for aerospace power generation systems. You will handle generators, FADEC and APU-related gear, while following strict CMMs, SBs, and blueprints.

As a Repair Technician, you repair and overhaul electrical power supplies and magnetic components used in the aerospace industry, with a focus on aircraft auxiliary power units (APUs), generator control units (GCUs), and related systems. You work on a variety of applications, including permanent magnet generators for engine OEM companies with FADEC and ignition applications, fly-by-wire aircraft APU systems, and wound field generators that provide both DC and AC power for aircraft and UAVs.

You work in a dedicated repair station area within an original equipment manufacturing facility that produces power generation and conversion equipment for commercial aerospace applications. The environment is hands-on and technical, focused on diagnosing, repairing, and testing APU, GCU, and related power systems using standard hand tools and detailed technical documentation. The primary schedule follows a shift 4 pattern from 06:00 to 16:30, and once you are fully trained there is flexibility to choose alternative hours such as 05:00–15:30 or 07:00–17:30, depending on your preference. The work involves handling delicate equipment and components, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to aerospace repair station standards and procedures.
This is a Contract position based out of Beaverton, OR.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
