Job summary

ASRC Federal Advanced Research LLC (AFAR) is seeking an Electrical/Computer Engineer to join the Ground-Based Navigation team at MMAC, Oklahoma City, OK. The role focuses on NAS navigation systems, ILS, RVR, TACAN, DME, and related nav aids for FAA programs.

Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/CS, 9+ years’ experience, and US clearance eligibility. On-site work with 10–25% travel, in a robust hardware/software engineering environment.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 9+ years of related work experience preferred.
• NAS facilities, systems, and equipment experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Test, analyze, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade hardware/software on critical navigation systems.
• Design and develop hardware/software enhancements for NAS navigation systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and manuals.
