Job summary

ASRC Federal Advanced Research LLC (AFAR) seeks a Computer Engineer to join the Ground-Based Navigation (GBN) team at MMAC in Oklahoma City, OK. The role focuses on NAS ground-based navigation solutions and interfacing with FAA stakeholders, with an emphasis on embedded software and hardware integration.

Requirements include a Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical/Computer) and 3–6 years of related experience; travel up to 25% and ability to work in an agile environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-ABET engineering degree in Electrical/Comp Eng or related field.
• Experience with NAS facilities, systems, and equipment is desirable.
• 3–6 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade software and hardware on critical navigation systems.
• Research, design, and develop software/hardware, including enhancements and configurations.
• Contribute to manuals, guidelines, and documentation when needed.
• Review engineering data to ensure FAA performance criteria compliance.
