Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Quality Researcher Inspector. You will research maintenance requirements, perform inspections, and ensure all documentation and approvals are complete for return to service.

Requirements include an FAA A&P license, 5+ years of aircraft maintenance, and at least 1 year on Bombardier aircraft, with QA inspection experience. Strong regulatory knowledge and SAP-based tools are expected.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license required.
• 5+ years aircraft maintenance experience.
• 1+ year on Bombardier aircraft.
• 1+ year as aircraft Quality Inspector.
• Ability to interpret FAR/CAA and other regulatory docs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to General Work Requirements as required in coordination with Quality leadership.
• Research and capture maintenance program requirements for aircraft and compile listings.
• Inspect aircraft and perform on-aircraft inspections to establish configuration.
• Prepare reports of maintenance requirements for customer delivery.
• Support Quality Inspectors and return aircraft to service when requested.
• Ensure all work packages, records and regulatory paperwork are complete and approved.
• Perform walk around inspections and ensure airworthiness for return to service.
• Train and mentor employees in duties within qualifications.
