Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support the FAA under the TSSC-5 contract. The role covers installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electronic systems for the NAS, with supervision and collaboration across teams. Travel up to 100% within the USA is required.

The position emphasizes adherence to FAA orders, safety policies, and quality procedures while documenting activities and supporting senior engineers on complex systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years working knowledge of analog/digital electronics and RF/communications equipment.
• Experience using standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, signal generators).
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% within the USA.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, test, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electronic systems.
• Perform field installations and site work under TSSC-5, including racks, cabinets, and equipment per drawings.
• Route, terminate, label, and test cables; assist with power-up, alignment, and functional testing.
• Document work with logs, tickets, tests, and as-built information.
• Follow FAA, Parsons safety and QA procedures and coordinate with senior staff and FAA counterparts.
