Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (or higher) required.
• 2–4+ years of hands-on drone/UAS flight experience in 14 CFR operations.
• Master's Degree in Aviation Management required.
• Experience with drone maintenance, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Ability to conduct safe drone operations under FAA regulations.
• Experience with mission planning, data collection, and risk management.
• Three levels of drone/UAS certifications or training preferred.
• Experience teaching or mentoring students in aviation/UAS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings with EU administrator to review student and classroom issues.
• Maintain accurate attendance daily and weekly.
• Review pre- and post-testing in courses and administer surveys.
• Notify registrar of roster changes and manage admissions-clearance processes.
• Maintain fair grading schemes and ensure compliance with university policies.
• Keep syllabi current, neat, and organized; update attendance and grades weekly.
• Deliver classes on schedule; minimize breaks and avoid early dismissals.
• Be available to students 15 minutes before sessions for questions and advising.
• Submit grades no later than Monday 5pm EST after term ends.
• Maintain a clean and orderly classroom and support student success.
