Job summary

AAR Corp is seeking an experienced Inspector/Technician to inspect incoming material and perform receiving inspections for the repair station. The role requires calibration of equipment, adherence to FAA standards, and ensuring timely, high-quality aircraft delivery.

Strong knowledge of FAR rules and proper documentation is essential. Candidates should have multiple years of experience with heavy transport aircraft, hold an FAA A&P or be eligible for Repairman, and demonstrate the ability to

Qualifications

Five or more years’ experience as a technician/inspector on heavy transport category aircraft.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate or eligible for FAA Repairman certificate.
Understanding of FAR 21, 43, 65, 121, 125, and 145.
English language proficiency (read, write, speak, understand).

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming material and perform receiving inspections on properly trained articles.
Set up/calibrate equipment and interpret results per standards and specs.
Ensure timely aircraft delivery without compromising quality or airworthiness.
Inspect aircraft and components for safety, workmanship, and serviceability.
Process paperwork and maintain safe, clean working environment.
Follow safety procedures and perform duties within estimated hours.
