Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician 1 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will perform routine aircraft maintenance, general servicing, and assist with scheduled/unscheduled maintenance tasks. Strong teamwork and adherence to FAA and DOT requirements are essential. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, FAA Airframe or Powerplant rating, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance) and work in varying conditions.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• FAA Airframe or Powerplant rating required.
• At least 1 year aviation maintenance experience or equivalent/military experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team on scheduled inspections/maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs with assistance; tolerate noise, heights and confined spaces.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil/filters, tire maintenance, light bulbs, batteries).
• Comply with DOT requirements.
• Be willing to work overtime and flexible schedules.
