Job summary

PSA Airlines, Inc. seeks an Aircraft Inspector to repair and inspect aircraft repairs, supporting Maintenance and Quality Assurance to maintain safe and reliable operations.

The role emphasizes compliance with FAA regulations, proper handling of parts, and thorough inspections before release. Ideal candidates will have an FAA A&P certificate, at least two years in aircraft maintenance, and the ability to obtain Airworthiness Release Qualification within 120 days.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
• Completion of PSA Indoctrination training and General Familiarization.
• Must be able to obtain Airworthiness Release Qualification within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FAA regs, directives, and company policies applicable to assigned work.
• Handle parts/components properly during repair processes.
• Verify all inspections on completed work before release.
• Coordinate with Stores on inspection of defective parts for acceptability.
• Coordinate with Quality Control on calibration of tools and equipment.
• Mentor and train other employees in procedures and best practices.
