PDS Defense, Inc. seeks an FAA Assembly & Test Technician 1 in Tempe, AZ. The role performs standard testing on a variety of equipment, records results, and analyzes data to ensure quality and functionality.

Qualifications

Knowledge of industry-specific tests and testing equipment (calipers, drop mics, bore gauges, micrometers).
Experience with torque wrench use and mechanical systems.
Ability to work under supervision with limited experience and judgment.
Creativity and latitude for problem-solving.
Ability to lift weights exceeding 30 lbs and handle physical risks of testing.

Responsibilities

Conduct and monitor testing processes on various equipment.
Record data from testing in standard formats and provide results to product and engineering teams.
Analyze test data to identify defects, malfunctions, or performance issues.
Collaborate with technical teams to recommend solutions for testing problems or equipment malfunctions.
Maintain, repair, and calibrate test equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to testing procedures.
Develop new test procedures in collaboration with the engineering team.
Ensure that test procedures comply with safety regulations and standards.
