The role requires taper sanding, lay-up, septum core replace, and cross-functional documentation, with emphasis on precision, measurement data, and MRB dispositions. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability in taper sanding, lay-up, and septum core remove/replace.
• Knowledge of SRMs, CMMs, AMMs and MRB dispositions.
• Ability to translate engineering direction into hands-on work using electronic media and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite repairs on structural and non-structural aircraft parts following SRMs, CMMs, AMMs, and approved repair instructions.
• Translate engineering direction into hands-on work using electronic work instructions, models, specifications and MRB dispositions.
• Operate across multiple tasks, maintain throughput and ensure quality.
• Fabricate, rework and bond non-metallic parts using advanced techniques.
• Verify dimensions with precision tools and participate in First Article Inspections when required.
• Capture, validate and deliver measurement data to satisfy engineering intent and program requirements.
• Open MRB records for nonconforming conditions and complete required documentation.
