Job summary

Avelo Airlines, Inc. is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Concord, NC. You will play a key role in safe, compliant, and on-time maintenance at the line level, coordinating tasks and maintaining open communication with team leads, control, and pilots.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and MEL/CDL procedures.
• Must lift 50 lbs. for a distance of 10 feet and work outside in inclement weather.
• Able to work shift work, weekends and holidays.
• Possible travel up to 25% away from base.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and instruct other Crew Members.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• U.S. work authorization.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of the maintenance program.
• Coordinate and execute scheduled and unscheduled workloads.
• Own the aircraft while on duty.
• Communicate with Team Leads, Maintenance Control, and Pilots.
• Knowledge of Structural Repair Manual conditional use and damage assessment.
• Support Safety Management System (SMS) and safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulatory requirements for planning tasks.
