Job summary

ExxonMobil in Houston seeks a Flight Engineer for its corporate aircraft fleet. You will be the third crew member, overseeing maintenance, catering, and passenger care during international and domestic flights, and you will assist pilots and perform FAA-related duties.

The role requires an FAA A&P certification with 3 years’ experience, and Gulfstream G650/G280 experience is preferred; corporate flight department experience is a plus, and you must troubleshoot complex aircraft issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification with 3 years experience.
• Gulfstream G650, G280 mechanical experience preferred.
• Corporate Flight Department experience preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot complex aircraft issues.

Responsibilities

• Fly as third crewmember on Company aircraft with full technical responsibility.
• Release aircraft to Captain as mechanically airworthy before flights.
• Monitor checklists and assist pilots; handle abnormal procedures.
• Serve as cabin attendant during cruise and assist in emergencies.
• Post-flight and pre-flight inspections; oversee maintenance and repairs.
