Job description

At this time, we can only accept candidates with an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph (U.S. Citizen) who are local to one of the following locations: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC; Reston, VA; College Park, MD; Quantico, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Waikiki, HI.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Provide Tier-3/4 support for F5 related architecture.
2. Collaborate effectively with audiences ranging from IT administrators to executive stakeholders to deliver solutions.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
4. Communicate complex technical information clearly, both orally and in writing, with business acumen.
5. Maintain hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP and UNIX/Linux variants.
6. Demonstrate experience with network devices such as routers and switches, including understanding HTTP headers, ISO layers, and TCP flags.
7. Manage F5 architecture, including creating and managing Route Domains and Partitions.
8. Lead complex troubleshooting efforts and provide on-site or remote support.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or STEM-related field with at least eight years of experience.
2. Experience working in environments with development, engineering, sustainment, and O&M activities for secure government systems.
3. Relevant F5 Certified Professional certifications, with ongoing certification updates.
4. Required DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT Level II or higher certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. F5 300-series certification.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
