Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking an experienced F5/LTM specialist to design, implement, and optimize enterprise load balancing across multiple environments. The role requires deep hands-on work with F5 BIG-IP platforms, GTM, ASM, APM, and tight integration with CI/CD and IaC pipelines.

Applicants should be proficient in scripting (iRules/iApps/AS3), cloud load balancing, SSL/TLS, and network troubleshooting, with a strong security mindset and collaboration across IT teams.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM/ASM/APM.
• Proficient in iRules, iApps, AS3/DO, TS and REST API usage.
• Strong server-side app development knowledge (Java/Python/Node/.NET).
• Solid networking fundamentals and traffic troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on with cloud load balancers on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience integrating F5 with CI/CD and IaC tooling.
• Familiarity with logging/monitoring (Splunk/ELK/Grafana).
• Security-focused: WAF tuning, DDoS mitigation, bot protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage F5 BIG-IP LTM/GT M across environments.
• Develop and maintain iRules, iApps, and Local Traffic Policies.
• Manage GTM/DNS for geographic load balancing and failover.
• Configure SSL termination and certificate management with PKI integration.
• Build health monitors and ensure SLA compliance.
• Integrate load balancer configs into CI/CD pipelines and IaC flows.
• Perf-tune F5 appliances and VE to meet throughput requirements.
• Troubleshoot L4–L7 issues, including SSL handshakes and routing.
• Manage Advanced WAF policies to block OWASP top risks and bots.
• Collaborate with network/security/app teams for resilient designs.
• Maintain topology docs, runbooks, and change records.
• Provide on-call L3 support for production incidents.
