Job summary

New York Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Network Architect with 10+ years of experience in network engineering and 5+ years specifically on F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM to design and implement enterprise-scale load balancing and security solutions.

You will design global load balancing, DR, and multi-site failover, while automating deployments with Ansible, Terraform, iControl REST API, and Python. Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and drive standards across AWS/Azure/GCP deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Network Engineering/Architecture, with 5+ years on F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM
• F5 Certifications – F5-CTS LTM/GTM preferred
• Experience designing enterprise-scale F5 solutions and standards

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise-scale F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM/DNS solutions
• Design virtual servers, pools, iRules, iApps, SSL offloading, and traffic policies
• Define enterprise standards, reference architectures, and best practices
• Lead HA, capacity planning, and DR strategies for F5 platforms
• Automate F5 deployments using Ansible, Terraform, iControl REST API, and Python
• Provide L3/L4 leadership, troubleshooting, and mentoring
• Develop HLD/LLD, runbooks, DR plans, and SOPs

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement enterprise-scale F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM/DNS solutions.
• Design virtual servers, pools, iRules, iApps, SSL offloading, and traffic policies.
• Design global load balancing, disaster recovery, and multi-site failover solutions.
• Define enterprise standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Lead HA, capacity planning, and DR strategies for F5 platforms.
• Integrate F5 with WAF, APM, ASM and other security solutions.
• Manage F5 lifecycle, upgrades, migrations, and cloud deployments across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Automate F5 deployments using Ansible, Terraform, iControl REST API, and Python.
• Provide L3/L4 technical leadership, troubleshooting, and mentoring.
• Develop HLD/LLD, runbooks, DR plans, and SOPs.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and performance tuning.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM/DNS
• Working knowledge of ASM, APM, AFM
• TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, load-balancing algorithms
• Enterprise networking: routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, data center architecture
• Troubleshooting with tcpdump, Wireshark, qkview, F5 iHealth
• Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills
