Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler with experience in soldering and assembly for our first shift manufacturing team. Come support various programs in electronic warfare using your skills in manufacturing. You will work in a manufacturing team that supports critical mission capabilities.

Key Roles, Accountabilities And Responsibilities
  • Assembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and machinery.
  • Performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, high value torqueing and extensive attention to detail.
  • Collaborates with team members and engineering team to produce quality products.
  • Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans.
  • Inspects results to ensure conformance to IPC-610 standards.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience working with large complex builds.
  • Ability to become solder certified.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience in electronic mechanical assembly.
  • Soldering experience per J-STD or ability to be trained on soldering.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $41,024 - $65,639

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. Salaries are influenced by various factors including skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
