Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join the Hot Section Engineering (HSE) team. You will lead an Integrated Product Team, drive Agile tasks, and coordinate with design, structures, and aerodynamics to deliver on critical engine programs.

What You Will Do:

Pratt and Whitney Hot Section Engineering (HSE) is looking for a highly motivated, goal oriented, detail focused engineer to join its team. This position requiresdemonstration leadership, excellent communication skills, and a command ofMechanicaland or Aerospace Engineering foundational knowledge. We are looking for a uniquely talented engineering leader to champion our key transformation shifts and identify new ways to improve project task execution for the F135-ECU Program.

Specific responsibilitieswill be leading project tasks via the Agile framework for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of a cross functional group of project, design, structures, and aerodynamic team members. They will need to communicate the status of technical issues, and budgets to CIPT leaders, HSE leadership, internalprogram offices and external customers. They may also need to work closely with purchasing, suppliers, customer support and the sustainment organizations to support engine deliveries and respond to field challenges as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 5 years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3 years with an advanced degree.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering
• Advanced proficiency and knowledge of Project Planning, schedules and prior EVMS/CAM experience
• Familiarity with P&W Project tools and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership in engineering continuous improvement and strong communication, interpersonal, time management with organizational skills.
• An active security clearance is not required but ability to apply for one after day start would be desired.

Hot Section Engineering (HSE)

Hot Section Engineering is responsible for the design, development, technology maturation and in service support of all diffuser cases, combustors, turbines (vanes, blades, rotors and cases), augmenters (military), nozzles and associated fuel systems for all military, commercial and industrial engine models and radial auxiliary power units.

Technical disciplines in HSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Durability and Product Definition.

Onsite:

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
