Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality Manager for the Military Engine Sustainment quality organization. The role focuses on leading the Quality Management System, supervising inspectors, and ensuring supplier and depot quality across F135 maintenance environments.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of depot experience or a Master’s with 7+ years, and familiarity with AS9100 and audits. Onsite work, travel up to 10%, and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years aftermarket/depot experience or master's degree with 7+ years.
• Experience with AS9100 quality standards and audit cycles is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of inspectors performing supplier product and depot inline inspections.
• Provide leadership and guidance of the Quality Management System.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with the Vendor/Supplier.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other members of the F135 Depot team.
• Provide quality support to production Vendor/Suppliers, including resolution of hardware and process problems.
• Compile and report departmental business metrics and analyze data to identify trends of non-conformances.
• Perform internal and external quality system audits.
• Lead quality initiatives within the organization.
• Evaluate procedures and processes for compliance with requirements.
