Job summary

RTX, in partnership with Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, seeks a dedicated team manager for F135 Configuration Data Management within SAP. You will lead a team handling master data integrity, drive data investigations, establish budgets, and build a training program for the DEPOT team.

Responsibilities include daily management of cross-functional teams, SAP configurator enhancements, and development of data strategies for new engine variants, with a focus on KPI-driven performance and process

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required; advanced degree preferred for seniority.
• 8+ years of experience reviewing technical data, large datasets or enterprise applications.
• 2+ years of turbine engine maintenance or depot overhaul support at customer locations.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Pratt & Whitney Military Engines F135 DEPOT Configuration Data Management, which supports the F135 engine powering the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, is seeking a dedicated team manager to join the organization.

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for managing Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Depots F135 Configuration Data within the Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) application. Your responsibilities will include maintaining master data integrity and accuracy, leading and resolving investigations into any data inconsistency issues, establishing a budget and supporting negotiations, and developing a training curriculum for the DEPOT Configuration Data Management team.

What You Will Do

• Manage day-to-day activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration data issues raised by CONUS and OCONUS DEPOTs
• Work with Quality, Materials, PME, PE, DT, and SAP SMEs to implement SAP configurator improvements that meet program needs
• Define a strategy to incorporate data for any new engine variants (600A, ECU).
• Establish a training curriculum, skill matrix, and proficiency levels required for the team.
• Leverage the CORE OS to define and maintain KPI metrics that align with the program's overall objectives

Qualifications you Must Have

• BS/BA degree
• 8 years of experience in reviewing technical data, large dataset, enterprise applications or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience in reviewing technical data, large dataset, enterprise applications
• 2 years of experience with turbine engine maintenance methods, engine depot overhaul support, or engine maintenance support at customer locations
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Master's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science 5 years of experience
• Experience with P&W SAP MRO solution
• Experience interpreting blueprints, technical instructions (IETP/ IETMS), and engineering changes (EC)
• General understanding of programming in Python and data transformation

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
