Job summary

RTX is seeking skilled aviation inspection candidates to join the MECOE team in a hands-on Onsite role in the US. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and U.S. Person status due to program access restrictions.

You will inspect engine bearings, disassemble and clean components, and generate accurate engine-build documentation. Preferred candidates have 4+ years in aviation inspection and relevant licenses; familiarity with SAP and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent or Vocational/Technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• U.S. Person status is required, as only U.S Persons are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• Disassemble, Clean, and Inspect components, and perform Clean Line Tank Maintenance.

• Complete and review technical documentation, including Fits & Clearances, Engine Inspection Reports, and SAP transactions.
• Complete and Review Engine Package documentation.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• 4+ years' experience in aviation inspection role,
• Inspection & Mechanic Stamps
• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, Powerplant License, or 2+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in Turbine Engine overhaul, inspection and repair, precision measuring tool usage – preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, or Assembly.
• Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
