The primary responsibility of the Finance & Insurance Manager is to oversee the financial transaction process during vehicle sales. This includes working with lenders to secure approvals, preparing financial paperwork, and advising staff on DMV laws.

  1. Assist customers and sales team in the financial aspects of the vehicle purchase process.
  2. Build rapport with customers to generate referrals and expand the customer network.
  3. Consult on and sell finance & insurance warranties and products.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely submission of paperwork for titles and funding.
  5. Achieve monthly sales and processing objectives.
  6. Meet deadlines for paperwork submission to lenders and accounting.
  7. Handle customer payments securely and ensure proper accounting procedures.
  8. Stay compliant with local and national regulations, advising the team on legal changes.
  9. Partner with service advisors to promote extended warranties when appropriate.
  10. Maintain strong customer relationships and a reputable standing with lenders and vendors.
  11. Present finance and insurance options clearly, explaining warranty packages effectively.
  12. Assist sales staff with lending options and warranty explanations as needed.
  13. Develop relationships with bank and manufacturer representatives, meeting regularly.
  14. Utilize advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and dealership management systems.
  15. Stay organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  16. Think strategically to find solutions for customers.
  17. Be self-motivated and a team player.
  18. Understand tag and title laws and DMV regulations.
  19. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  20. Demonstrate a track record of excellent customer service ratings.
  21. Pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug tests).
