Job Summary
The Marketplace Cashier/Cook is responsible for providing excellent guest service by accurately and efficiently processing guest's food & beverage preparation and purchases.
Reports to
F&B Supervisor
Essential Functions
- Ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal, and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
- Provide high standards of guest service by listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions.
- Greet guests and efficiently process food and beverage orders through the Point of Sale (POS) System.
- Maintain accountability and security of their cash drawer.
- Stock and clean workstation/venue for presentable products.
- Ensure proper guest payment for food and beverage service.
- Prepare food as needed in quick service kitchens.
- Maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
- Communicate positively and respectfully with internal and external guests.
- Build knowledge of food & beverage offerings to answer questions accurately.
- Maintain excellent attendance and be available for events and varied schedules.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
- Promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
- Manage and maintain security of confidential information.
- Complete all required training satisfactorily.
- Monitor compliance with currency transaction reporting, Title 31, and IRS requirements; maintain accurate CTR, SAR, MTL, and MIL reports.
- Perform other duties as needed based on organizational requirements.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D, or related food service experience.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-volume settings preferred.
- Wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
- Strong English communication skills; Spanish or other languages a plus.
Other Criteria
Preference for qualified Kickapoo Tribal Members and Native Americans.

- Lift/move up to 50 lbs. frequently.
Work Environment
- Casino floor and office settings.
- Frequent walking, standing, and contact with the public in a smoke-filled environment.
- Varying noise levels and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Potential exposure to lighting effects and irate guests or staff.
- Travel may be required.
Conditions of Employment
- Obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming License and background check clearance.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years old.
- Reliable transportation.
- Compliance with policies, regulations, and required training.
- Participation in tip reporting.
