Midas Hospitality is seeking an experienced, service-focused, and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the daily operations of our hotel Food & Beverage outlets. This position is responsible for short-term planning and daily operations across RISE, RELAX, RESTORE, banquet events and meetings, room service, and other Food & Beverage services as assigned.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor provides leadership to Food & Beverage associates, supports guest satisfaction and service excellence, monitors operational and financial performance, and ensures compliance with hotel, brand, company, and regulatory standards. This position may also serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as directed by the General Manager.

The ideal candidate is a hospitality leader who can balance associate development, guest service, operational execution, and financial performance in a fast-paced hotel environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will support the planning and daily operations of assigned Food & Beverage outlets while maintaining high standards of service, quality, hospitality, safety, and financial performance.

Food & Beverage Operations
  • Plan and manage daily operations for banquet events and meetings, room service, and other Food & Beverage services as assigned.
  • Implement company and hotel programs and ensure operations comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), brand standards, safety requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, beverage service, guest service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
  • Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing, service levels, and resources based on business volume and guest needs.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, supplies, equipment, and resources are available to deliver exceptional guest experience.
  • Monitor guest and business trends and identify opportunities to improve service, operations, and revenue.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs, concerns, comments, and service issues to support guest satisfaction and future sales opportunities.
  • Provide clear communication regarding service standards, operational expectations, policies, procedures, and performance.
  • Empower associates to deliver exceptional guest service and resolve routine guest concerns.
  • Maintain open communication with associates and Food & Beverage leadership.
  • Support associate development and cross-training across Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Monitor labor, food, beverage, supplies, equipment, and other operating costs to maximize revenue and control expenses.
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure adequate levels of food, beverage, supplies, and operating materials are maintained.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining appropriate staffing and service levels.
Safety, Sanitation & Asset Protection
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout assigned Food & Beverage outlets and service areas.
  • Ensure Food & Beverage equipment and facilities are properly maintained and operated.
  • Identify maintenance concerns and communicate issues to the appropriate department.
  • Protect hotel assets by monitoring the condition and appropriate use of equipment, supplies, and facilities.
  • Ensure Food & Beverage operations comply with applicable health, sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all company, hotel, brand, and departmental safety policies and procedures.
Manager on Duty
  • Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities as designated by the General Manager, including supporting restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
What You Bring
  • Two to three years of related Food & Beverage, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience and/or training.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the applicable state if the position includes serving or supervising the service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage and hotel restaurant operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and other procedural documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to guests, customers, associates, and leadership in individual and group settings.
  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts involving discounts, percentages, proportions, money, weight, volume, distance, and other common Food & Beverage measurements.
  • Ability to analyze operational situations, solve practical problems, and make sound decisions when dealing with a variety of circumstances.
  • Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule formats.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on hotel business needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing and walking throughout the hotel, restaurant, banquet, and Food & Beverage operating areas.

Physical requirements include:

  • Sitting: Rarely required for extended periods.
  • Standing and Walking: Regularly required throughout the workday.
  • Bending, Stooping, Reaching, and Stretching: Regularly required.
  • Lifting and/or Pushing: Frequently required to lift and/or push a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Loud Noise: Occasionally exposed to loud noise for extended periods.
  • Driving: Occasionally required.
  • Vision: Regularly requires depth perception and color vision.

This position is primarily performed inside a temperature-controlled hotel and Food & Beverage environment. The associate may occasionally be exposed to hot or humid conditions, particularly in or near kitchen, banquet, and restaurant operating areas.

The work environment is generally well lit and may occasionally require walking or working outside. Noise levels may range from moderate to loud depending on restaurant, banquet, and hotel activity.
