Job summary

Napa Valley Wine Train is seeking an energetic F&B Server to join our historic, luxury dining experience during the Santa Train season. You will deliver outstanding hospitality aboard our moving train, creating memorable moments for guests while upholding brand standards and safety.

Ideal candidates bring 1 year of restaurant/server experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Evening and weekend availability is required; gratuities are included in pay.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/server experience preferred.
• Wine knowledge and Napa Valley familiarity preferred.
• Ability to multitask and listen actively.
• Strong teamwork and a positive, adaptable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the Napa Valley Wine Train during fall and winter seasons.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality aboard moving trains and trains’ events.
• Maintain high energy, anticipate guest needs, and work with the team.
• Stand for long periods and ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

Work in Paradise! Join the team of the Napa Valley Wine Train. This historic, luxury, and iconic experience has been a staple in Napa's Wine Country for over 30 years. As a F&B Server Server/Steward, you'll be part of this legacy while helping create unforgettable guest experiences during all Wine Train experiences.

A Day in the Life:

As a F&B Server you will bring magic and excellence to all of our wine train experiences, and later primarily to our festive Santa Train. You’ll be part of our premium guest service team, delivering outstanding hospitality aboard our historic train during fall and winter excursions. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring pride, professionalism, and positive energy to every shift. This position requires high energy, excellent rapport with children, strong composure in fast-paced situations, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, and a welcoming smile. Previous restaurant or serving experience is helpful but not required—we’re happy to train observant, personable, and hardworking individuals who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

• Evening and weekend availability (no exceptions)


• 1 year of restaurant/server experience preferred


• Wine knowledge and familiarity with Napa Valley history strongly preferred


• Ability to multitask, think critically, and actively listen


• Strong teamwork skills


• Ability to stand for long periods of time


• Comfortable working on a moving train


• Positive, adaptable, and hardworking attitude


• Ability to speak and understand English


• Seasonal availability: November 24 - December 23, 2026 (no exceptions)

Mandatory Schedule during Santa train season

Must be available for all shifts - no exceptions

Nov 24th- December 24th 3:00 PM - 9:30 PM

$16.90-$28.00(with Gratuity)
